Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Clearline LLC (in formation) collects, how we use it, and the privacy commitments built into the platform. This is an early MVP draft and is subject to revision before launch.
1. What we collect
Account information: your name, email, and login credentials.
Contact for alerts: an optional phone number and messaging handle you provide so we can notify you about drops.
Payment information: handled by our payment processor. We do not store full card numbers or bank credentials on our systems.
2. The anonymity guarantee
Buyers and sellers never see each other. Sellers are shown to buyers only by an anonymous platform handle, and buyers appear to sellers only by an anonymous buyer handle. Real names, emails, and company identities are never exposed across the two sides.
This separation is core to how Clearline works and is enforced at the platform level, not left to individual behavior.
3. How we use your data
We use your information to operate your account, process memberships and orders, send the drop alerts you opt into, and keep the platform secure. We do not sell your personal data to anyone, ever.
4. Sharing
We share data only with the service providers needed to run the platform (payment processing, messaging, and email delivery), and only to the extent required to provide those services. We may disclose data where required by law.
5. Your choices
You can update your contact details and alert preferences from your account settings, and you can request deletion of your account by contacting us.
